Betamax Logo (80's Throwback Logo/VCR)

Betamax Logo T-Shirt Before VHS won the living room, Betamax won the argument. Launched in the mid-1970s, Sony’s Betamax format became the gold standard for picture quality, sound fidelity, and people who liked to be right — even if history didn’t always agree. It was the choice of engineers, archivists, filmmakers, and anyone who cared more about clarity than convenience. The Betamax logo carries that legacy: clean, technical, confident. It calls back to an era of physical media, careful recording, handwritten labels, and shelves lined with tapes that mattered. A format that may have lost the format war, but never lost its reputation.
