Bestseller Picture Ledge

A picture ledge is a slim shelf with a raised lip, made for leaning rather than stacking: a row of framed photographs, a favorite print, a child's picture books turned face-out, swapped whenever the mood changes without new nail holes each time. This one comes in raw Alder or raw Basswood and ships unfinished, so you can leave it natural, stain it, or paint it any color the room calls for — Basswood takes paint especially smoothly, and both take stain well. It is offered in six lengths, from 24 to 54 inches, to sit above a desk, span a hallway, or run the length of a bedroom wall. Key Features: Premium Materials: Available in raw Alder and raw Basswood. Basswood ledge is best for a smooth, paint-ready surface. Lock Miter Joint: Joined at the corner for a clean line and a rigid, long-lasting ledge. Weight Capacity: Supports up to 15 lbs on drywall; up to 25 lbs when mounted into studs. Included Hardware: Comes with wood screws for mounting. Hang it raw, or paint or stain it first. It hangs with the wood screws included, no bracket needed, and it is meant for display rather than storage — lean your frames and art against the lip rather than loading it like a shelf. Each one is made to order in the USA.
