Bermuda Shutter Stay, 24"

This stay hardware holds Bermuda style shutters in the open position. It mounts at the bottom of the window and the bottom of the shutter. Stays can be mounted in the middle of the shutter or the outside edge. The hook measures 24" in length and is 9/16" in diameter. The mounting plates measure 1" x 1-1/4" and have a 1" projection. The hook is made of forged steel and the plates are made of cast iron. It is recommended that the shutter be held open at an angle of 60-degrees or less. For very large shutters, two stays can be used.
