Berg

Designed by Rachel Brockman  PATTERN NOTES  Sometimes our favorite patterns are simple and uncomplicated – and the Berg hat is just that. It features a simple broken rib pattern throughout with thoughtful crown shaping. The result is a modern take on a classic ribbed cap. Wear it with the brim cuffed for a close fit or unfold it for a bit of slouch. We have a feeling you’ll be itching to make more than one of these hats.  This hat is knit in the round from the bottom up. The stitch patterns are written and charted for your convenience.  SIZES  Adult Small (Medium, Large)  Shown in size Adult Medium.  FINISHED MEASUREMENTS  Brim Circumference: 17¼ (20, 22¾)”  Stretches to approx. 20¼ (23, 25¾)”  Height: 8½ (9, 9½)”  MATERIALS  Rozetti Yarns Merino Mist (60% viscose, 20% acrylic, 20% superwash fine merino; 50g/167 yds)  • 105 Lavender – 1 ball, all sizes  Needles: US Size 6 (4 mm) 16” circular and your preferred needle for knitting small circumferences in the round or size needed to obtain gauge  Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers  GAUGE  21 sts x 30 rnds = 4” in Broken Rib patt  Save time check your gauge.  Berg is available as part of e-book The Midtown Collection, and as an individual pattern through Ravelry.
