Berber Mary Poppins Bag

In the souks of Marrakech a new style of basket started showing up.  Was it Hermes that copied the artisan’s form or the other way around?  Jewels hired some of the most talented artisans to make her some of this design then she took them back to her atelier where the most talented Khadija stitched the whipped cream colored leather handles and closure.  Absolutely killer. Approximate size as each are hand woven and no two are exact- just the way things should be: 12.5 x 17 x 8″ (not including handles)   Our basket totes are hand woven and stitched in Marrakech using natural plant materials and leather.  Given the nature of these materials inconsistencies are to be expected.  Embrace it and let it take on further the characteristics of your journeys.
