Description Specifications Compare Shipping & Returns Why ROS Auto Screen Fit THE PROJECTOR THAT ALMOST INSTALLS ITSELF BenQ's auto-adjust Screen Fill feature corrects the image geometry with a single button press. Mount the projector, press the auto-adjust button, and it sizes and squares the image to your screen. No climbing a ladder to nudge corners, no taping off alignment marks. The single biggest install time-saver in the projector category. 5,000 Lumens Of Laser Brightness THE BRIGHTEST 1080P SIM PROJECTOR WE SELL 5,000 ANSI lumens is the brightness tier where ambient light stops being a factor entirely. Garage sim with the door cracked open, basement with full stairway light, multi-purpose room with overhead cans, all handled cleanly. Most 1080p sim projectors top out at 4,000 lumens. The LH860ST gives you a full 25% more brightness headroom. 0.5:1 Ultra-Short Throw 100-INCH IMAGE FROM 3.6 FEET AWAY Fixed 0.5:1 throw ratio projects a 100-inch image from just 3.6 feet away. The tightest throw in the BenQ 1080p lineup. Low ceilings, compact garages, tight enclosures where a 0.69-0.83 throw ratio still isn't short enough, this is the 1080p projector that fits. Laser Light Source 20,000+ HOURS, ZERO BULB REPLACEMENTS Laser light source rated for 20,000+ hours. At 4 hours of sim use per day, that's over 13 years before the laser dims meaningfully. No bulb swaps, no mid-round flickers from a dying lamp, no $200 replacement parts every two years. The maintenance-free upgrade from every lamp-based projector in the same brightness tier. Easier Install Than You Think MOUNT, PLUG, AND HIT IN UNDER AN HOUR Most home sim owners install this projector themselves in 30-60 minutes. Mount it, run one HDMI cable to your gaming PC, plug in power, press the auto-adjust button, that's it. If you've installed a ceiling fan or a TV mount before, this is easier. If you'd rather not DIY, our SimSquad team walks you through the whole install on a call. From Our SimSquad WHO THE LH860ST IS FOR The LH860ST is the answer for sim builders who keep asking us about brightness. If your room has ambient light you can't fully control, 5,000 lumens eliminates the problem instead of managing it. The 0.5:1 throw ratio is the other advantage: it fits rooms where even our standard short-throw projectors need more depth. For dedicated dark rooms, you don't need this much brightness, and the AH500ST saves you $400. — Stephen, ROS Director of Product What is the BenQ LH860ST? The BenQ LH860ST is a 5,000 lumen 1080p laser short-throw projector built for golf simulator rooms where brightness matters. 0.5:1 ultra-short throw ratio, laser light source rated for 20,000+ hours, BenQ auto Screen Fill for fast alignment, and Rec. 709 color accuracy for true-to-life course rendering. The highest-brightness 1080p projector in the BenQ golf sim lineup. Why Choose the BenQ LH860ST? Honest framing: 5,000 lumens at 1080p is the point where you stop thinking about ambient light. If your sim room doubles as a garage, a basement with stairway spill, or any space where you can't fully control the lighting, this is the brightness tier you need. If you can darken the room and want to save, the AH500ST (4,000 lumens) is $400 less. If you want 4K resolution at similar brightness and throw, look at the LK830ST 4K for $100 more. Not sure if the BenQ LH860ST fits your specific room? SimSquad will spec it based on your ceiling height, throw distance, and screen size before you buy. Frequently Asked Questions Does the BenQ LH860ST have auto-keystone correction? Yes. The BenQ LH860ST includes BenQ's auto Screen Fill feature. Mount the projector, press one button, and the unit auto-corrects the image to fit your screen geometry. Critical install advantage over most competing projectors at this tier. How long does it take to install the BenQ LH860ST? Most home sim owners install the BenQ LH860ST themselves in 30 to 60 minutes. Mount the projector to your ceiling or floor mount, run one HDMI cable to your gaming PC, plug in power, press the auto-adjust button, that's it. Our SimSquad team walks through any step on a call if you'd rather not DIY. Will the BenQ LH860ST fit my sim room? The BenQ LH860ST has a fixed 0.5:1 ultra-short throw ratio, which means a 100-inch image from just 3.6 feet away. This fits the tightest sim rooms, low ceilings, and compact enclosures. SimSquad will spec the right projector based on your specific room dimensions before you buy. Is the BenQ LH860ST bright enough for my sim room? The BenQ LH860ST delivers 5,000 ANSI lumens, the brightest 1080p projector in our BenQ lineup. It handles multi-purpose rooms with ambient light where lower-lumen models struggle. If your room is fully dark and controlled, you can save with a 3,000-4,000 lumen model instead. Does the BenQ LH860ST work with GSPro, E6, and TGC? Yes. The BenQ LH860ST has standard HDMI inputs and works with every simulator software platform we ship, including GSPro, E6 Connect, and TGC 2019. Software compatibility is handled by your gaming PC, not the projector. The BenQ LH860ST renders whatever the PC outputs. What mount works with the BenQ LH860ST? The BenQ LH860ST works with standard universal projector mounts including our RoS Ceiling Projector Mount. For low-ceiling rooms where ceiling mounting isn't practical, our SwingShield Floor Enclosure is sized for projectors of this footprint. What's the warranty on the BenQ LH860ST? BenQ's standard projector warranty applies. Specific terms vary by region. Reach out to SimSquad for warranty details or extended-coverage options on the BenQ LH860ST.
