Ben Sidran - Life's A Lesson

Life's A Lesson By Ben Sidran Very Good Condition This CD is a wonderful collection of traditional Jewish liturgical music. The settings are done in a jazz mode, and vocalist Lynette--that is how she is billed--has a soothing, yet emotional style that is pleasant as well as easy to sing along with. Even if someone is not familiar with Hebrew, it is possible to enjoy this CD. It has the ability to allow the listener to become absorbed in the melody and in the lyrics. It is hard to find truly good US made Jewish music, but this CD certainly qualifies. I would also recommend it to non-Jews who have an interest in sacred music or who would like an accessible introduction to Jewish music. This is a CD that grows stronger with repeated listenings. Yasher koach to Ben Sidran, Lynette and all the players for this amazing gift of music and song.
