Belgian Coticule bouts are irregular shaped stones, cut to maximize hone size from the valuable yellow coticule material. This Belgian Coticule is from the atelier of Ardennes Coticule, the only remaining producers of these sharpening stones. Coticules are wonderful razor hones and also well known for honing tools and knives. They are a fast cutting yet fine and versatile stone that can be used for bevel setting through finishing or followed by a finer stone.
