Begonias in Fort Worth

Begonias Information Introducing our exquisite Begonia collection, where beauty meets resilience. These stunning plants are the epitome of elegance, boasting vibrant hues and delicate blooms that captivate the eye and elevate any space. With their lush foliage and intricate flowers, Begonias add a touch of sophistication to gardens, balconies, and indoor settings alike. Begonias don’t require as much sunlight as other annual garden flowers, which is why they may seem more sensitive than other annual flowers. Begonias are best planted in an area where they get morning and/or early afternoon sunlight with mid-to-late afternoon shade, or in a place where they will get speckled sunlight through tree canopies. Too much bright light will scorch the leaves. Begonias do need well-drained, yet moist soil to thrive. It’s important to plant your new begonias after the last spring frost because begonias don’t thrive well in temperatures under 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Why Choose Begonias? Begonias offer a range of benefits that make them a top choice for gardeners: Vibrant Blooms – Available in shades of red, pink, orange, yellow, and white. Long Blooming Season – Flowers continuously from spring until the first frost. Shade Tolerant – Perfect for shaded gardens or areas with partial sun. Low Maintenance – Requires minimal care while delivering maximum impact. Versatile Growth – Ideal for flower beds, containers, and even as houseplants. How to Grow and Care for Begonias For healthy, thriving begonias, follow these simple care guidelines: Sunlight: Most begonias prefer partial shade, though some varieties tolerate full sun. Soil: Well-draining, rich soil ensures optimal growth. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Fertilizing: Use a balanced liquid fertilizer every two to four weeks.
