Before the Shape Knows Itself

Before the Shape Knows Itself  “Inside you there’s an artist you don’t know about.” - Rumi   Original alcohol ink painting on 10x30 canvas by MacKenzie J. D. Brown, Billings, Montana. Soft blooms of blue and green spread across the surface in organic clusters, evoking growth, memory, and emergence beneath water. The painting feels discovered rather than directed, Its forms arising through flow and pause, allowing structure to surface on its own terms.
