Bee Therapy Hut Experience

A bee therapy hut offers a unique way to connect with nature and experience the calming energy of honeybees in a safe, enclosed space. Inside the hut, specially designed beehive chambers allow you to relax while benefiting from the gentle sounds, vibrations, and air produced by the bees. A bee therapy hut is not just a wellness experience—it’s a way to restore harmony, recharge your body, and reconnect with nature in its purest form. Each session is 30 minutes. Once you have booked, you will receive an email from "Appointo" with detailed instructions such as address and time to arrive as well as a waiver to sign.  More Details: *If it is 50 degrees F or above, the bees are busy working and you will get a more robust hive experience.  *Bees are affected by scents, so we ask that you go easy on cologne, perfume, or any other fragrance before entering the hut. The pine on the inside will also absorb scents, so we prefer to be cognizant of the bees (who have very sensitive smell receptors) as well as guests whom may have also sensitivities to certain smells.  *Bees are also affected by EMF signals produced by cell phones. We have provided a signal-blocking box in the hut to put your phone in while you're enjoying the experience. However, we highly encourage you to take photos and video before or after to share with your friends!  *We want to keep the environment as similar to the inside of the hive as possible so that we don't interrupt too much of the bee's processes. For that reason, there is no heating or cooling. Whatever the temperature is outside, expect the inside of the hut to be about 10 degrees warmer. Take that into consideration when booking your appointment. If it is the middle of summer and you prefer to be cooler, book it in the morning. If you would also like the benefit of a  sauna-effect, later in the afternoon would be perfect.  *Guests of any age are welcome. However, anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We ask for your help in maintaining the calm and peaceful atmosphere.  *As in a sauna, you will be lying down or sitting on wooden planks. This is the best way to get the full experience! There are pillows provided (the cases are changed out regularly). If you need extra cushion or feel that you need something to cover up with, feel free to use one of the Turkish towels in the basket. Please return it to the basket when finished.  *Please do not bring any food or drinks into the bee therapy hut.  *Research and long standing practices in parts of Eastern Europe suggest that regular exposure to hive environments may support: • Respiratory comfort and sinus health • Reduced inflammation and seasonal allergy symptoms • Nervous system relaxation and stress reduction • A deeper sense of calm through rhythmic, natural vibration (www.honeybeecotagemn.com/faqs)
