Our bed blanket is made from four layers of organic cotton gauze with unbelievable loft and softness. It's thicker than a bed sheet, yet breathable and lightweight. For children who started out with our baby blanket, the same softness and texture in their bed sheet helps the transition to a big kid bed, or makes their current bed a more comfortable place. For children who are new to our gauze, this will be their dream bedding! It crinkles up with laundering, and may become more textured via successive launderings--achieving the appearance you see in our product photos.
