Becoming - Peaches and Cream

Peaches and cream brings forth your feminine side, but there’s nothing of the wallflower here. You are here to show that being a woman doesn’t make you weak. Pearls can only be found by opening the oyster or muscle, similarly, when you wear pearls you are opening to find your true self - to becoming your authentic self. You are always becoming, moving forward into the next stage of life, pearls help you stay tuned to the ebb and flow, the tides and the lunar cycles moving forward calmly and from a place of balance. Deepen your connection to your goddess self, your deepest, wisest feminine nature and find your connection to the wisdom you have gained by experience. Wearing pearls enhances your personal integrity, truth, loyalty and reminds you that everything will turn out okay. Pearls are formed when mollusk creates a defense against threatening irritant or attack. The peal becomes strong and beautiful, as do we when we allow ourselves to grow and become who and what we are meant to be. Michelle Obama says at the end of her book, “I’m still in progress and hope I always will be. For me, becoming isn’t about arriving somewhere or achieving a certain aim I see it instead as forward motion, a means of evolving, a way to reach continuously towards a better self. The journey doesn’t end….. It’s all a process, steps along a path. Becoming requires equal part patience and rigor. Becoming is never giving up on the idea that there is more growing to be done…. Let’s invite one another in, maybe then we can begin to fear less, to make fewer wrong assumptions, to let go of the biases and stereotypes that unnecessarily divide us. Maybe we can better embrace the ways we are the same. It’s not about being perfect. It’s not about where you get yourself, in the end, there’s power in allowing yourself to be known and heard, in owning your unique story and using your authentic voice and there’s grace in being willing to know and hear others, this for me is how we become.” Michelle Obama
