Beaverhead River - Summer Fly Box

Fish the Beaverhead like you know it — because now you do.   The Beaverhead River Summer Fly Box is hand-curated specifically for the conditions, hatches, and trout behavior you'll encounter on the Beaverhead from June through August. Summer brings PMD hatches and consistent surface feeding. The weedy character of the river means fish have excellent cover and are rarely far from a feeding lane.   This box is built around the Beaverhead's summer hatch calendar — PMDs, caddis, and pale evening duns. Every fly was chosen with dry fly fishing with careful approach and presentation in mind, giving you exactly what you need to match what the fish are eating at this time of year.   What's in the box: 36 flies total — 18 unique patterns, 2 of each — covering PMD dries, caddis emergers, elk hair caddis, and sow bug nymphs. No filler. No patterns that don't belong on this river in this season.   Pro tip from the water: Wade quietly and stay low. Beaverhead trout spook easily in the clear, slow water. Spot fish before you cast.   Whether you're making your first trip to the Beaverhead or you fish it every season, this box gives you a proven starting lineup so you can spend more time fishing and less time digging through bins at the fly shop.   Includes a quality waterproof fly box. All flies are hand-tied to Bozeman FlyWorks standards — the same quality we'd put on our own lines.
