Beaverhead River - Spring Fly Box

Fish the Beaverhead like you know it — because now you do.   The Beaverhead River Spring Fly Box is hand-curated specifically for the conditions, hatches, and trout behavior you'll encounter on the Beaverhead from April through early June. Runoff from Clark Canyon is steady and the river is cold through May, but fish are feeding. Spring is a technical nymphing season on the Beaverhead — midges and scuds dominate early before BWOs and early PMDs begin showing up.   This box is built around the Beaverhead's spring hatch calendar — midges, blue-winged olives, and early PMDs. Every fly was chosen with precise nymphing with light tippet in mind, giving you exactly what you need to match what the fish are eating at this time of year.   What's in the box: 36 flies total — 18 unique patterns, 2 of each — covering midge larvae, scuds, sow bugs, and small BWO emergers. No filler. No patterns that don't belong on this river in this season.   Pro tip from the water: Long leaders and fine tippet are non-negotiable on the Beaverhead. These fish are educated — presentation beats pattern selection every time.   Whether you're making your first trip to the Beaverhead or you fish it every season, this box gives you a proven starting lineup so you can spend more time fishing and less time digging through bins at the fly shop.   Includes a quality waterproof fly box. All flies are hand-tied to Bozeman FlyWorks standards — the same quality we'd put on our own lines.
