Beaverhead River - Fall Fly Box

Fish the Beaverhead like you know it — because now you do.   The Beaverhead River Fall Fly Box is hand-curated specifically for the conditions, hatches, and trout behavior you'll encounter on the Beaverhead from September through November. Fall is prime time on the Beaverhead. Cooler temperatures activate the fish, BWO hatches trigger surface feeding, and streamer fishing for big browns picks up significantly.   This box is built around the Beaverhead's fall hatch calendar — blue-winged olives, mahogany duns, and midges. Every fly was chosen with streamer fishing and dry fly fishing during BWO hatches in mind, giving you exactly what you need to match what the fish are eating at this time of year.   What's in the box: 36 flies total — 18 unique patterns, 2 of each — covering streamers, BWO dries, mahogany duns, and large scuds. No filler. No patterns that don't belong on this river in this season.   Pro tip from the water: Big brown trout come out of hiding in October. Swing streamers through the deeper pools and undercut banks for the best chance at a trophy.   Whether you're making your first trip to the Beaverhead or you fish it every season, this box gives you a proven starting lineup so you can spend more time fishing and less time digging through bins at the fly shop.   Includes a quality waterproof fly box. All flies are hand-tied to Bozeman FlyWorks standards — the same quality we'd put on our own lines.
