Beaumont can be made as a traditional tam (shown in red & white) or a beanie (shown in shades of grey) simply by knitting to a different gauge and blocking the finished piece in a style-specific manner. Inspired by the use of angora in traditional Bohus sweaters, I worked mine with a wool/angora blend to achieve a smokey, ethereal halo that makes colorwork beautifully cohesive. The design also looks wonderful in Shetland wool. Two versions are provided: one utilizes 2 colors, the other 4. Knitters are encouraged to experiment with color and shape to create a hat that is uniquely their own. Designer: Jared Flood Collection: Classics
