Beaulieu Vineyard Tapestry Reserve

Beaulieu Vineyard Reserve Tapestry is a beautifully crafted wine that demonstrates the art of blending Bordeaux-heritage grape varieties. This wine is the epitome of a complex and balanced blend, with five grape varieties contributing to its depth and richness. The generous core of briary blackberry and cassis expression in the wine comes from the Cabernet Sauvignon. This addition of Merlot provides a plush mid-palate texture that helps to tame the tannins, resulting in a smooth and elegant finish. Deep plum notes are contributed by the Malbec, while the Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot complete the blend with their nuances of rose, forest loam, and graphite. The result is a wine with an impressive depth of flavor and a long, satisfying finish. In the glass, the wine has a beautiful, dark ruby color that is immediately inviting. The nose is filled with aromas of black cherry, dark chocolate, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with flavors of blackberry, black currant, and a touch of spice. This wine is a perfect match for grilled meats, hearty stews, and mature cheeses. The Beaulieu Vineyard Reserve Tapestry 2019 is a must-try for wine enthusiasts who appreciate the art of blending and a wine that can be enjoyed now or will age beautifully for years to come.
