The Beatles Live in St Louis. August, 1966 Photo Print

This picture, taken by Tom Morton, is one of the very few professional live shots taken of The Beatles that has never been published.  The band was scheduled to play Cincinnati on Saturday, August 20, 1966, but because of a torrential rain storm and the risk of electrocution, they rescheduled for a Sunday day show.  Unfortunately for Mr. Morton, this meant that he didn’t have the opportunity to spend the day shooting them and was only left with the opportunity to shoot the show that evening.  The storms that hit Cincinnati made their way to St. Louis and, if you look closely, you can see the weather in the image.  The beauty of this image isn’t only in the subject, but also in the distinctive architecture of Busch Stadium, seen in the top left of the image. Here are a few things you should know: - The sample you see here is watermarked for security. Your final print won't have the watermark, of course. - Framed versions will have a black wood frame with a white mat. - Satisfaction guaranteed. If you don't love your print, just return it for a full refund.
