Bean Starter Set

Start Here. End Up Obsessed. Three of our most popular heirloom beans, chosen because they're the ones our customers can't stop talking about. Chocolaty Chaparro, creamy Baby Butter, and delicate chef-favorite Flageolet. Cook one pot and you'll understand why people say their bean horizon has been "greatly expanded." Grown by small family farms in healthy soil — and yes, you can taste the difference. These beans cook faster, flavor deeper, and make the best refried beans, soups, and tacos you've ever put on the table. Everything you need for a perfect first pot is included: cooking instructions, links to 200+ recipes, and kombu — a mineral-rich dried seaweed that's the secret ingredient serious bean cooks swear by. Add it to your pot while cooking for deeper flavor, more nutrition, and beans that are easier to digest. Once you know about kombu, you'll never make a pot without it. Three pounds of dried heirloom beans. About 20 servings. Endless meals with a story behind every one. Includes three 1-lb bags + kombu
