BeadSmith Basic Elements Leverback Ear Wires in Gold

Earring components are essential parts used in jewelry making to assemble and finish earrings. They include various elements that serve both functional and decorative purposes: Earring Hooks: These are the parts that dangle from the earlobe, such as fishhooks or French hooks. They typically feature a small loop or coil for attaching decorative elements. Earring Posts: These are small, straight rods that attach to the earlobe, secured with a backing or clutch. They are often used for stud earrings. Earring Backings: These secure the earring post in place and come in various styles, such as butterfly backs or screw backs. Earring Hoops: Circular or semi-circular components that can be embellished with beads, charms, or other decorations. Earring Drops: Components that hang from the main earring part, adding length and movement to the design. To use these components, jewelry makers assemble the various parts by attaching them with jump rings, crimp beads, or other findings, ensuring a secure and aesthetically pleasing finish. Each component plays a role in creating functional, stylish earrings that can be customized to fit any design. 6 pieces per set
