Beaded Triangle Peace Basket

Our hand-beaded products are crafted with delicate detail by our artisan partners in Rwanda who hand-stitch locally-sourced beads onto handwoven bases using a needle and thread. Peace baskets represent the generosity, compassion, and forgiveness that helped Rwanda rise towards a bright future after the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994. 16" H  x 7" W White with black pattern beading Handwoven sisal base Locally-sourced beads and natural fibers This peace basket is a beautiful home accent on its own or for storing small keepsakes. Yet the majority of artisans are women who lack access to export markets, business skills, and the financial tools needed to run successful, global enterprises. We are dedicated to changing that by investing 100% of our profits into education programs for the women who handcraft our products and youth in their communities. Since 2007, we've provided over 1,100 artisans and 250 young people in Rwanda & Ghana with employment opportunities, entrepreneurship training, and consistent access to the global export market. That's Impact. Care Instructions spot clean **Due to the handmade quality, some size and color variation may occur.
