Bead Chain Eyes by Hareline

Bead Chain Eyes by Hareline Whether you’re looking to add just a bit of weight to shrimp patterns or invert small baitfish flies, Hareline’s Stainless Steel Bead Chain Eyes are a classic, reliable choice for fly tyers. Made from durable, non-tarnishing stainless steel, they’re perfect for both freshwater and saltwater patterns—from bonefish flies to bass bugs and streamers. These bead chains are easy to cut and tie in, offering just enough weight to help your flies ride hook-point up or get down without overloading them like lead dumbbells might. They’re especially popular for crustaceans, smallmouth streamers, and saltwater flats flies, and will resist rust—even in saltwater environments. Each chain is approximately 10" in length: Small (2.4mm) – Great for light shrimp & damsel patterns Medium (3.2mm) – Ideal for small streamers and bass bugs
