Be My Peace Paperback

Synopsis: Domestic Violence has, and still is a major issue in our society today. Alaina had never experienced such a tragic situation, until she got, with the wrong guy. After a bad breakup, Alaina chose to stay single for two years. She was single and happy, until her sisters pressured her into dating again. While trying to help her younger sister get over a bad breakup and fight depression, she ran into Brandon, the guy everyone wanted, not knowing the reality, of what it was like to be with him. He swept Alaina off her feet. He quickly won her sisters over, after spoiling her with the things either of them could ever afford. For the first time, Alaina was a domestic violence victim and was determined to make that her last time. She lacked hope of escaping her situation and was hungry for happiness and peace. While Alaina figured out if she was going to Boss Up or get beat down, she had to face the fact that her mother was battling breast cancer for the second time and didn’t know if she would be lucky enough to survive.
