BE. LIGHT: Onyx Matchbox

Hand-carved from organic white onyx and imbued with luxury, this match box is more than a matchbox—it’s a statement. At the heart of the ritual of lighting your space, this piece is crafted for the design-minded who refuse to sacrifice beauty for function. Each piece is unique. Natural variations in the white onyx give soft variations in veining and hue—no two boxes are alike, and each one carries its own story, just like the curated spaces we design at Home by BE. Key Highlights: Hand-crafted in Mexico from organic white onyx, with subtle natural texture that catches soft light and echoing our signature taupe and clay tones. Hidden message inscription inside the lid—an elegant surprise that nods to your interior design-forward sensibility. Designed to elegantly resolve the unsightly lighter conundrum for the refined home. Stores black matchsticks (included), and rests gracefully on your mantel, side table or console. Dimensions: (Insert here) — low-profile, sculptural, unobtrusive yet influential. Perfect for gifting: pairs beautifully with the Home No. 26 signature candle, or stands alone as a thoughtful design object. Finishing touch of elevated living: a matchbox designed to integrate with your curated, intentional environments rather than detract from them. Why you’ll love it: Because lighting a candle is more than flicking a flame—it’s the pause, the breath, the moment of transition. With this onyx match box, the mundane becomes ritual, the utilitarian becomes object d’art, and light becomes elevated. Care + Use: Place on a sturdy, heat-resistant surface. Store away from direct sunlight to maintain color integrity. When lighting, allow the onyx box to rest securely and safely—this is a design object with living functionality. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth to preserve the natural texture and finish. Gift it, keep it, present it: Whether you’re selecting the perfect hostess gift, extending your product line for Home by BE, or simply refining your own living space with one more element of luxe, this onyx match box is a refined addition.
