Dive Rite TransPac Harness 2025

Overview The Dive Rite TransPac Harness is the original modular harness system that helped define modern technical diving. Designed by Dive Rite founder Lamar Hires during his pioneering cave exploration expeditions in Japan, the TransPac was built to provide exceptional comfort, durability, and versatility for demanding diving environments. Unlike traditional rigid backplate systems, the TransPac utilizes a flexible harness design that remains comfortable during long walks to remote dive sites while still providing the support needed for single tank, backmounted doubles, sidemount, and rebreather configurations. Simply pair the harness with the appropriate Dive Rite wing and mounting accessories to create a fully customized diving system. Built in the USA using premium materials and marine-grade hardware, the TransPac remains one of the most versatile harness platforms available today.
