Keyboard-wedge mode can place the displayed weight into the active software field when a dedicated scale interface is unavailable. Mettler Toledo BC scales include configurable defaults for major carrier workflows. Compatibility still depends on the shipping application, operating system, driver, scale protocol, and selected connection method. Confirm the software provider's supported-scale requirements before ordering. Built for Commercial Shipping Operations A durable metal frame, substantial overload protection, adjustable feet, and an operator-friendly graphical display make this scale suitable for frequent use in warehouses, fulfillment centers, shipping stores, corporate mailrooms, ecommerce operations, and carrier counters. The larger dished-top platform helps keep boxes and irregular parcels centered while preserving a manageable packing-station footprint. Legal-for-Trade Use This is an NTEP-certified Class III configuration intended for commercial applications in which weight affects the price charged. State or local inspection, registration, calibration, or sealing may be required before the scale is placed into legal-for-trade service. The GeoCal™ setup process compensates for differences in local gravity to help preserve factory calibration after installation.
