Butcher BBQ Mop Brush

Butcher BBQ Mop Brush: Spread Sauce Quickly Across Smoked Meats The Butcher BBQ Mop Brush helps you coat ribs, pork shoulder and other smoked meats with sauce in fewer passes. Its nubbed silicone bristles hold sauce instead of simply pushing it around, so you can apply an even glaze while spending less time with the lid open. Use it to build sauce layers near the end of a cook, or to apply a vinegar-based mop during Carolina-style BBQ. The 15-inch tool has a twist-off head for easier cleaning after saucing. Why You’ll Love It Faster coverage: The nubs hold extra liquid and cover the same area that can take three passes with a flat silicone brush. Less sauce waste: Silicone bristles grip sauce mechanically rather than absorbing it into fibers. Heat-ready bristles: The silicone handles grill heat without melting or shedding into your food. Easy cleanup: Remove the head to clean the bristles separately. Best On Ribs and pork shoulder Chicken with a finishing glaze Whole hog and other cooks using vinegar-based mops Pro Tips For ribs, wait until the bark has set before applying sauce so you don’t wash off the rub. Apply sauce during the final 20 to 30 minutes of a rib cook, or the final 15 minutes for chicken. Rinse the bristle head under hot water soon after use, before sauce dries. Product Details Brand: Butcher BBQ Product: BBQ mop brush Length: 15 inches Bristles: Silicone with raised nubs Care: Dishwasher safe; head twists off for cleaning FAQ Can I use the Butcher BBQ Mop Brush with thin, vinegar-based sauces? Yes. The nubbed silicone bristles grip thin sauces and Carolina-style mops for application across the meat. When should I apply BBQ sauce with this mop brush? Use it near the end of the cook, after the bark has set. Applying sauce too early can wash off the rub and interfere with crust formation. How is this different from a flat silicone basting brush? The raised nubs hold sauce and release it across the meat. The brush can cover the same area in one pass that may take three passes with a flat silicone brush. Can I put the Butcher BBQ Mop Brush in the dishwasher? Yes. Twist off the silicone bristle head and place both the head and handle in the dishwasher. How should I clean the brush by hand? Rinse the head under hot running water before sauce dries. Work the nubs apart with your fingers, then wash with dish soap and rinse again.
