The sound is not great stated on the website and it starts to get distorted once you turn up the volume over 30% . This is for my wife's 2001 classic 330ci convertible, manual. If you have an aftermarket radio, these do not work well. They start to crackle and get distorted. The...Read MoreRead more about review stating Overpriced not for aftermarket head unit radio website never states that it does not recommended for aftermarket radio head unit. After communicating with Jeremy all he said is, nothing wrong with the speakers. It doesn't work well with aftermarket radio. But for $550, their website states these are high quality speakers so this should be able to handle a normal aftermarket radio head unit. But apparently these speakers are not that quality to handle a aftermarket radio head unit. And the aftermarket head unit is not overly powerful So it should Not overpower these speakers if they're high quality. For the price it's not such a great deal, actually is overpriced. I could not even turn up the volume over 30% before the rears starts to get distorted and crackles. Again for $550 you would think the speakers are high quality as they state on their website, but these are not. And their customer service wasn't very sympathetic at all. Pretty sad.
