Baumalight HSM513 Tree Saw with Extended Boom for Skidsteers

Baumalight HSM513 Manual Rotation Tree Saw with 168" Extended Boom for Skid Steers Take control of overgrown fence lines, high limbs, small trees, and dense woody vegetation with the Baumalight HSM513 Tree Saw for Skid Steers. Available from Skid Steer Store, the HSM513 is a heavy-duty, hydraulically driven extended-reach tree saw built for farms, ranches, land-clearing projects, rural properties, rights-of-way, and professional vegetation management. What sets the HSM513 apart from a conventional skid steer tree saw is its impressive 168-inch operating length. The extended boom allows operators to reach higher limbs and farther into tree lines while remaining inside the skid steer. This makes it especially useful for clearing overhanging branches along farm roads, fields, fence lines, trails, driveways, and areas where larger agricultural equipment needs additional overhead clearance. The HSM513 features a manual rotating cutting head that can be positioned horizontally or vertically, allowing the same attachment to cut small trees and brush near ground level or trim limbs and branches overhead. Its heavy-duty AR400 steel circular saw blade, replaceable carbide-tipped High Speed Teeth, serrated front push bar, blade shielding, and bent-axis piston hydraulic motor make it a serious tree-cutting attachment for demanding skid steer applications. Why Choose the Baumalight HSM513 Extended-Reach Tree Saw? The Baumalight HSM513 is designed for operators who need substantially more reach than a standard skid steer tree saw. Whether you're maintaining miles of agricultural fence line, opening access for taller farm equipment, trimming tree limbs along a road, or reclaiming overgrown rural property, the HSM513 gives your skid steer the ability to reach vegetation that would otherwise require additional equipment. Trim high and overhanging tree limbs Maintain farm and ranch fence lines Create clearance for tractors, combines, sprayers, trucks, and other equipment Cut small trees and woody brush Maintain trails, access roads, and driveways Clear property boundaries and rights-of-way Manage rural acreage and wooded property Reduce the need for ladders and handheld saws in many applications 168-Inch Extended Reach The standout feature of the Baumalight HSM513 skid steer tree saw is its approximately 168-inch operating length. This extended boom gives the operator significantly more reach than a traditional close-mounted skid steer tree saw. For farmers and property owners, the extra reach can be particularly valuable when trimming limbs that interfere with combines, tractors, hay equipment, sprayers, trucks, trailers, and other tall machinery. Folding Boom for Transport and Storage Although the HSM513 provides impressive reach during operation, the boom is designed to fold for more compact transport and storage. This reduces the attachment's overall footprint when hauling it between jobs or storing it when not in use. Manual Horizontal and Vertical Cutting Positions The HSM513 uses a manual bolt-on rotating cutting head that can be configured for both horizontal and vertical cutting applications. Horizontal Tree Cutting Position Position the blade horizontally for cutting small trees, saplings, brush, and woody vegetation near ground level. Vertical Limb-Trimming Position For trimming limbs, fence lines, tree rows, and overhanging branches, the cutting head can be manually rotated 90 degrees to the left or right. To change the cutting position, remove the eight bolts at the base of the cutting head, rotate the assembly 90 degrees to the desired side, and securely reinstall the bolts. Because rotation is manual, the HSM513 does not require an electrical auxiliary connection to control the cutting-head position. Heavy-Duty AR400 Steel Saw Blade The HSM513 uses a heavy-duty circular saw blade constructed from abrasion-resistant AR400 steel. This material is designed to withstand demanding cutting conditions and provide long service life in forestry, agricultural, and property-maintenance applications. Carbide-Tipped High Speed Teeth Baumalight equips the HSM513 with its aggressive High Speed Teeth. Each tooth uses a concave carbide cutting tip designed to chip away at woody material as the blade rotates. Each round tooth provides three usable cutting edges. When one edge becomes worn, simply loosen the retaining nut, rotate the tooth to a fresh cutting surface, and tighten it back into position. This design helps extend tooth life and reduces the frequency of complete tooth replacement. Six Replacement Teeth Included Every Baumalight HSM513 includes a free set of six replacement High Speed Teeth. The spare teeth are conveniently stored in a durable enclosed compartment located on top of the attachment frame. Easy Tooth Replacement The replaceable High Speed Tooth design makes routine saw maintenance straightforward. Individual teeth can be rotated or replaced without replacing the complete saw blade. Heavy-Duty Blade Bearing Support The HSM513 saw blade is mounted on an overhung load adapter with tapered roller bearings. This heavy-duty bearing support is engineered to handle the loads produced by the spinning circular saw blade during demanding tree and limb cutting. The overhung load adapter helps keep the blade properly supported and rotating through tough trimming and vegetation-clearing conditions. Serrated Front Push Bar A solid serrated steel front push bar is positioned ahead of the cutting blade. The push bar helps guide limbs, branches, brush, and small trees during operation while assisting in directing cut material away from the operator. Protective Saw Blade Shield A durable blade shield encloses a substantial portion of the circular saw blade. The shield helps protect the cutting assembly and directs chips and debris as the saw moves through limbs, trees, and brush. Clean, Controlled Tree and Limb Cuts The Baumalight HSM513 is designed to make fast, controlled cuts through limbs and small trees while producing a cleaner cut than many tearing or shearing methods. This makes it particularly useful for agricultural tree maintenance, fence-line trimming, property management, and applications where the quality of the remaining limb cut is important. Rollback-Angled Skid Steer Mount The Baumalight DropSaw mounting plate is positioned on a rollback angle. This mounting geometry provides additional flexibility when positioning the saw and can help operators reach difficult limbs and vegetation. Combined with the extended boom and manually rotating cutting head, the rollback mount gives the operator multiple ways to approach hard-to-reach material. Designed for Maximum Operator Visibility Baumalight designed the HSM513 with operator visibility in mind. The boom and frame geometry help provide a clearer view of the cutting head and target material from the skid steer cab. Improved visibility makes it easier to position the saw and can help operators make more precise cuts. Bent-Axis Piston Hydraulic Motor The Baumalight HSM513 is powered by a 52cc bent-axis piston hydraulic motor. Baumalight identifies this motor option as the T530. The piston motor provides dependable hydraulic power to the high-speed saw blade while allowing the attachment to operate across a broad range of skid steer auxiliary hydraulic systems. Baumalight HSM513 Hydraulic Requirements The HSM513 is designed to operate on skid steers providing approximately 10–40 GPM of auxiliary hydraulic flow and hydraulic pressure up to 4,000 PSI.
