Batman: The Adventures Continue #8A (DC Comics 2021)

This 32-page full-color edition advances the established continuity of the DC Animated Universe, partnering veteran television writers Alan Burnett and Paul Dini with interior layout artist Ty Templeton and cover illustrator Mirka Andolfo. The plot tracks a winter solstice gala orchestrated by Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy to formally welcome Gotham’s imprisoned and active antagonists to their seasonal festivities. After a snubbed supervillain infiltrates the venue with a rigged holiday shipment, Batman deploys forensic tracking and environmental countermeasures to defuse the trap before the assembled rogues face mutual destruction. Rated T plus for stylized violence and mature thematic elements, the issue emphasizes methodical mystery pacing and high-contrast visual storytelling faithful to its source material.
