A microphone system picks up and analyzes ambient noise to produce an inverse frequency, reducing unwanted background noise: this technology is ideal for enjoying new emotions during your travels.                         UNIQUE FINISHES The timeless elegance and depth of black or the delicate refinement of a light, luminous color? Bathys is available in two finishes: Black Silver and Dune.   MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS Many features are accessible via the dedicated Focal and Naim app. Control buttons provide easy access to various features: voice assistants Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, EQ to adjust the sound to your liking while the Mimi Hearing test (Mimi Hearing) lets you adapt, configure the sound of the headphones according to your hearing, so you always get the best possible sound.         TECHNOLOGIES AL/MG SPEAKERS Extremely precise sound Focal engineers have put all their know-how in the manufacture of loudspeakers at the service of wireless headphones and noise reduction. Manufactured in the Focal workshops and inheriting patented technologies, the 40 mm full-range electrodynamic aluminum/magnesium loudspeakers are a patented Focal innovation. Aluminum increases dome rigidity and greatly reduces distortion, while the addition of magnesium provides excellent damping. This alloy enables the loudspeakers to deliver deep bass, smooth treble and clear vocals for extremely accurate sound.             USB-DAC MODE For tenfold performance Active" headphones incorporate an amplifier and a digital-to-analog converter (DAC), which process the sound signal directly from the source, whether wireless or wired (telephone, tablet, etc.), and amplify it to deliver high-quality sound reproduction. These amplifiers and DACs directly process the sound signal emitted by the listening source, whether wireless or wired (telephone, tablet, etc.), and self-power it to deliver high-quality reproduction. The USB-DAC mode integrated into Focal headphones with active noise reduction offers a resolution of up to 24 bits, 192 kHz and limits the phenomenon of compression during listening, for even greater sound performance.           REVIEW & AWARDS SECRETS BEST OF AWARDS 2023 - Read More "There’s a lot to like here. The overall sound is a close family match to the wired Focal headphones I use at home. Similar frequency response, soundstage, and dynamic range, especially when listening through the built-in amp and DAC. In fact, I think it slightly exceeds my Focal headphones in this mode."       FOCAL BATHYS WIRELESS HI-FI ANC HEADPHONES REVIEW - Read More "There’s a lot to like here. For anybody who exercises, travels, works in a noisy space, or who just wants to enjoy content without pissing everybody in the house off late at night, it is easy to see why any of us would want a pair of headphones like the Focal Bathys. " - Jerry Del Colliano     Focal Bathys Wireless Headphones Review - Read More "Stiff competition among full-sized, noise-canceling wireless headphones puts the spotlight on Bathys. Listeners who prize high fidelity, appreciate quality craftsmanship, and seek comfort will find a lot to like. The control app is excellent, allowing owners to customize the experience to their taste." - Mark Henninger      Focal Bathys review: maybe the best-sounding wireless headphones you can buy - Read More "The Focal Bathys are Focal's debut wireless over-ear headphone offering and sonically, they're a veritable delight – wirelessly yes, but especially if you listen in wired USB-C DAC mode for 24bit/192kHz decoding. The app is also intuitive and one of the more likeable companions we've tested. The 30-hour battery equals many of the class-leaders too, and frankly they're stunning to look at, but their overall score is marred just slightly by ANC that lacks potency and on-ear controls which feel a little naive." - Becky Scarrott    Our Top Gear Awards For 2022 - Read More "For travel audiophiles, the Focal Bathys represents a serious upgrade on consumer headphone choices from the likes of Sony and Bose. It also offers a more coherent and lively tuning compared to more heavyweight alternatives such as the Amrion wireless. Heck, even my little Panda falls into line when compared." - Marcus    Focal Bathys Bluetooth/Wired headphones - Read More "If I were a betting man, I'd wager that a new generation of wireless headphones is going to make us reach into our wallets again, and soon. Remember the Edifier S3 I mentioned earlier—and the fact that it offers Bluetooth and hi-rez audio simultaneously, without cables or adapters? That's the way (uh, huh )I like it! Within a couple of years, either the future Bluetooth 5.4 will be compatible with native lossless streaming, or headphone companies will go the Edifier route and use chips that enable lossless music via the current Bluetooth 5.3 standard. I can hardly wait to see—and hear—what the likes of Apple and Focal will come up with next." - Rogier van Bakel   Focal Bathys review - Read More "Focal’s entrance into this burgeoning premium Bluetooth headphones market isn’t surprising considering its presence at the premium end of the wired space. Nor is the success of its first effort. The Bathys are highly recommendable for anyone after the convenience of portability in a premium pair of headphones at this price.” - What Hi-Fi?   Focal Bathys Review - Read More "Focal’s first wireless ANC headphones are a high quality luxury pair, with excellent sound, unique aesthetics, long battery life and top-tier call quality. The noise-cancellation could be better, but works well enough for the situations this headphone is likely to be used for. The Focal Bathys are the best-sounding wireless headphones among their illustrious peers." - Kob Monney      Focal Bathys review: a luxury listen - Read More "If top-tier sound quality with wireless convenience is the only entry on your headphones wish list, the Focal Bathys duly delivers. They are a fantastic listen, whether over Bluetooth or through a cable. The high grade materials and construction make them an excellent pairing to any existing Naim or Focal home audio gear, and go a long way to justifying the high asking price."     Focal Bathys Review - Read More "After spending a ton of time with the Bathys, I firmly believe it to be one of a kind. For now, there is no other headphone that blends the experience of premium headphones with Bluetooth. Its build is just as carefully constructed, and its sound is reminiscent of their headphones of the past, particularly the Celestee. If you are in the market for a new pair of Bluetooth headphones and aren’t concerned about price, then look no further. However, you might find the $799 price point a little intimidating. In that case, there are still plenty of options. The Bathys is a Bluetooth headphone for a particular taste, and it might not be for everyone. However, you can’t deny the greatness of its design compared to many wireless headphones on the market. " - Alex Schiffer    Focal Bathys review: Ready to cause a stir in the business class lounge - Read More "Ordinary active noise-cancellation aside, Focal’s first foray into the world of wireless over-ear headphones is deeply impressive " - Simon Lucas    Review: Focal Bathys - Read More "The Focal Bathys are a set of truly luxurious headphones that ooze quality and finesse. Yes, they are pricey, but no shortcuts are made with cheap plastic or other cheap materials either. The fit is exemplary, you can wear these for a long time without feeling any discomfort. Noise reduction is also very good, with a low hiss that’s almost impossible to hear."       SPECIFICATIONS  Sound - Acoustics Product type Bluetooth closed headphones with active noise reduction Loudspeakers 15/8" (40mm) Aluminium/Magnesium ‘M’-shaped dome Frequency response (+/- 3dB) 15 Hz – 22 kHz Harmonic distortion rate <0.2 % @1kHz Design Weight 350 g / 0.77 lb Battery Autonomy 30h in Bluetooth 35h with mini jack connection 42h in USB DAC mode Battery type Lithium-ion 1060 mAH Charging time 1.5 h Connectivity Bluetooh version 5.1 Multipoint Bluetooth Codec AAC, aptX™, aptX™ Adaptive, SBC Connector Jack 3.5 mm,USB-C Microphones 8.0000 Voice assistant Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant Accessories Carrying case included Yes Cables provided • 1 x 4ft (1.2m) Jack 1/8" (3.5mm) cable • 1 x 4ft (1.2m) USB-C® cable CONNECTORS Bluetooth Mini-Jack (3.5mm) USB
