BATA 2Pitch3 Pitching Machine (Open Box)

*This is an open-box product that has been used and may have some blemishes. The Bata 2 Pitch 3 Pitching Machine offers versatile pitching capabilities with its Fastball and Curveball heads, both adjustable up to 35 degrees in either direction to mimic right-handed or left-handed pitching styles. Notably, the Fastball head now features dual-speed controllers, providing the flexibility to configure it for a wide array of pitches, akin to the BATA-2 model. This dual-speed control enables the manipulation of motor speeds, facilitating the delivery of various fastball variations like straight, sinking, or tailing, as well as other pitch types like sliders and knuckleballs. USA Made Parts The BATA pitching machines have rubber wheels that throw regular, low-seam, or dimpled baseballs/softballs. For the best results, it is recommended to use low-seam and dimpled balls. This allows players to practice with the same type of balls they will use in games, improving their accuracy and skill. All the critical components of the machine, such as the framework, wheels, circuit board, speed control dials, and motor, are manufactured in the USA. The steel frame is powder-coated, providing protection against rusting, pitting, and chipping. The speed control box offers the most reliable pitch speed, adjustability, and longevity on the market, making it perfect for players to practice their skills. The motor is specifically designed for our pitching machines, ensuring better and more extended performance. Feed Chutes These steel feed chutes are built to last and withstand long-term use. Their sturdy construction ensures that it won’t warp over time. Additionally, the chute’s adjustable knobs allow you to easily center the ball for more consistent pitches. Handles & Fenders The pitching machine features sturdy steel handles that enhance portability and ease of setup. Additionally, the steel fenders provide a safety measure, preventing accidental contact with the machine’s wheel and reducing the risk of hand or finger injuries. What is Needed for Auto Feeding? You will need the Bata Auto Feeder to use our machine by yourself. There are some limitations when auto-feeding the 2Pitch3 machine—some combinations (of speed and distance will not work). If you are throwing slower from a certain distance than is realistic, the feed chutes will be out of alignment and unable to accept the balls properly when auto-feeding. The general rule of thumb is that the minimum curveball speed (in mph) equals the pitching distance (in feet). For example, (when auto-feeding) the minimum speed curveball from 45 feet pitching distance is about 45 mph. The fastball will generally be about 15-20% faster than the curveball. Optional Accessories We provide a range of accessories designed to enhance your experience with our pitching machines. Choose between dimpled or low-seam baseballs/softballs to optimize your machine's performance. If you plan on using the machine solo, the Bata Auto Feeder is a must-have. Additionally, we offer a tailored machine cover to safeguard your machine from debris. We highly recommend investing in the Roll Away Stand specifically made for the 2-Pitch 3 machines. This stand makes it easy to transport the machine, allowing you to move it seamlessly from your garage to the cage or around a facility. It is an excellent investment that will make your life easier and save time and effort.
