The BATA pitching machines have rubber wheels designed to throw regular, low-seam, or dimpled baseballs/softballs. For the best results, it is recommended to use low-seam and dimpled balls. This allows players to practice with the same type of balls they will use in games, improving their accuracy and skill. All the critical components of the machine, such as the framework, wheels, circuit board, speed control dials, and motor, are manufactured in the USA. The steel frame is powder-coated, providing protection against rusting, pitting, and chipping. The speed control box offers the most reliable pitch speed, adjustability, and longevity on the market, making it perfect for players to practice their skills. Additionally, the motor is specifically designed for our pitching machines, ensuring better and longer performance. Feed Chute This steel feed chute is built to last and withstand long-term use. Its sturdy construction ensures that it won't warp over time.  Handle & Fender The pitching machine features a sturdy steel handle that enhances portability and ease of setup. Additionally, its steel fender provides a safety measure, preventing accidental contact with the machine's wheel and reducing the risk of hand or finger injuries. What makes BATA machines better than others? 1) The type of construction. BATA machines are made of solid steel. There are no sand-castings or plastic on the frames or stands. 2) The motors and electronics. BATA uses only high-quality US Made, permanent magnet DC motors and solid-state electronic controls. 3) The wheels. As explained below, BATA wheels are the most effective design. 4) Ease of use. BATA machines are simple to set up, easy to adjust, easy to transport. 5) Capacity. BATA has machines suited for players of all levels, priced accordingly. 6) Accuracy. BATA has the only machines that use their unique Goodyear Rubber Soft Tread pitching wheels. Their Soft Tread wheels are solid, die-cast, flat-faced rubber treads, molded and vulcanized onto a machined aluminum core. The result is better accuracy, more speed, and better consistency than competitive brands.
