In ancient Egypt, felines were revered as Gods: The sensuous lunar goddess Bastet, and the solar warrior goddess Sekmet. To this day, these creatures still hold us spellbound. We admire their confidence and aspire to their regal grace. Cats have lived by our sides since ancient times, yet still there something about them that remains mysterious and untamed. Even the gentlest house cat has a hunter's heart, and a lion's pride. This filigree necklace celebrates the majesty of cats great and small. A feline face rests proudly upon a radiant mane of filigree. Gleaming crystal eyes add an extra touch of fire to this glamorous piece. Hand crafted from solid brass filigree and finished to a rich antique patina. The chain length is adjustable between 16 and 20 inches so you can have the perfect fit for every form and occasion.
