Basta® Kids Essential Wool Mattress

The Basta® Kids Essential Wool Mattress offers parents a straightforward way to choose a natural mattress for their child. Available in carefully selected standard kids’ mattress sizes with a finished thickness of 3″ (8 cm), it provides breathable comfort, balanced support, and a practical sleep surface for everyday use. The mattress has a pre-configured construction made with GOTS-certified virgin wool and a durable, heavyweight GOTS-certified organic cotton cover. The materials, thickness, and construction have already been carefully selected, so parents only need to choose the appropriate size for their child’s bed. Generous layers of naturally breathable wool form the supportive core. Wool helps regulate temperature and manage moisture throughout the night, supporting a sleep environment that feels cool in warmer weather, warm during colder months, and comfortably dry throughout the year. Its natural resilience gently cushions the body while providing balanced support for growing children. The wool filling is enclosed in a GOTS-certified organic cotton cover selected for its strength, breathability, and comfortable feel. The heavyweight fabric allows air and moisture to move naturally through the mattress while providing the durability needed for regular use. Each Basta® Kids Essential Wool Mattress is handcrafted using carefully selected natural materials. It contains no springs, synthetic foam, chemical flame retardants, or unnecessary additives, making it a practical choice for parents looking for a breathable, foam-free kids’ mattress with a straightforward construction. By combining GOTS-certified virgin wool, organic cotton, balanced support, and handcrafted construction, the Basta® Kids Essential Wool Mattress provides a simpler way to choose a natural children’s mattress without compromising on comfort, material quality, or durability.
