MBR Basic Lip-ID

Product OverviewMBR Basic Lip-ID is a rich lip balm for lips that crack in cold air or dry out through the day. It is built almost entirely on oils and butters, including castor, macadamia, jojoba, argan and shea, so the film it leaves stays put rather than disappearing within minutes. The official formula highlights apricot kernel oil, MultiEx BSASM™ and a cooling agent, which gives the balm its light, fresh sensation on application. Recommended ForRecommended for dry, rough or chapped lips and for the lip contour, in winter, on flights and after long days outdoors. Suitable for adults and for anyone who reaches for a balm several times a day. Texture and ExperienceA firm, waxy balm that softens on contact and glides on in a thin layer. It leaves a soft satin sheen rather than a gloss, and a brief cooling freshness from the menthyl lactate. Key Ingredients Apricot Kernel Oil: Nourishing oil, rich in antioxidant vitamins (vitamin A, C, E) for smooth and calm skin. MultiEx BSASM™: Multi-herbal extract of seven roots and leaves, rich in calming, soothing, comforting and antioxidant properties. Cooling Agent: Menthol derived from peppermint essential oil, giving a short-lived cooling sensation when applied. Conscious FormulaMBR states its formulas are developed and produced in Germany under pharmaceutical-industry manufacturing standards, without animal testing. Not recommended for: Cracked or bleeding lips, where the cooling agent may sting Anyone with a known sensitivity to lanolin, menthol or castor oil Use as an eye or face balm Frequently Asked QuestionsHow does it differ from MBR Perfect Lip-ID? Basic Lip-ID is the everyday nourishing balm. Perfect Lip-ID is the more advanced version for those who also want to work on the look of the lip contour, so many people keep Basic in a bag and Perfect on the bedside table. Why does it feel cool on the lips? The formula contains menthyl lactate, a menthol derivative that gives a brief fresh sensation as it is applied. It fades within a minute. Can I wear it under lipstick? Yes. Apply a thin layer, let it settle for a minute, then blot lightly before your lipstick so the colour holds. How often can I use it? As often as lips need it, including overnight as a thicker layer. Pairs Well With MBR Perfect Lip-ID — the advanced lip care in the same family for a fuller-looking lip contour.
