Build the legendary mobile suit that launched the Gundam franchise with the Bandai 1/100 MG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. 3.0 from the original Mobile Suit Gundam. The Ver. 3.0 edition of the RX-78-2 brings Bandai’s Master Grade engineering to one of the most iconic mecha designs ever created. Featuring layered armor construction, refined proportions, detailed mechanical components, and an advanced internal frame, this kit delivers an impressive combination of realism, articulation, and display presence. The model includes the RX-78-2’s classic weapon loadout, including the beam rifle, shield, beam sabers, and hyper bazooka, allowing builders to recreate memorable poses and battle scenes from the original series. The articulated frame and armor system provide excellent poseability while exposing subtle mechanical detail throughout the build. Bandai’s color-separated snap-fit construction means no glue is required, and the included markings add further visual detail straight from the box. Panel lining, painting, and weathering can be added for an even more realistic finish.
