Barrell Whiskey Triple Rum Cask Finish (20 Year): A 142.24 Proof Rarity at Nestor Liquor   Prepare for a whiskey of breathtaking power and complexity. Nestor Liquor, your preferred partner for the world's most unique spirits, is proud to present the Barrell Whiskey Triple Rum Cask Finish. This "Hazmat" level, limited-edition release features whiskeys with a 20-year age minimum and is bottled at a staggering 142.24 proof (71.12% ABV). This is a rare and audacious blend from the masters at Barrell Craft Spirits. This exceptional whiskey is a true transatlantic journey. It begins with a diverse blend of rare and meticulously selected whiskeys sourced from the United States (Indiana and Tennessee) and Canada, all aged for a minimum of two decades. The magic happens in the triple finishing. Each component whiskey was finished separately in a distinct rum cask from one of three legendary Caribbean nations: Jamaican Rum Casks: Imparting dense, funky, and vibrant tropical esters. Barbados Rum Casks: Adding notes of rich molasses, toasted coconut, and baked apple. St. Lucian Rum Casks: Contributing honey, ginger, and bright, zesty fruit. These individually finished, 20-year-old whiskeys were then skillfully blended to create a harmonious, complex, and layered final expression that balances the profound spice of aged whiskey with the exotic, sweet funk of three distinct rum traditions. Tasting Notes: Nose: An explosion of tropical esters. The aroma is dense with orange flower water, pineapple, passionfruit, and strawberry, all layered over a waxy, vanilla-forward base. Palate: The high proof is immediately apparent but delivers an incredibly rich, oily texture. Flavors of matcha, rosehip, and fresh sugarcane lead, followed by tropical lychee, kiwi, and honeydew melon. Finish: A rich piña colada note is deftly balanced by a clean, mineral-driven saltiness. The finish is exceptionally long, evolving with notes of honeysuckle, lime zest, and a hint of lingering peanut butter.
