Barracuda ROV Kit with Thrusters and Tether (Rev 2)

Free shipping within the United States on orders over $50* Detailed assembly instructions are available for the Barracuda kit, including video lessons, classroom activities, and many more topics here.  You will need to register to access our lesson plans, however, registration is free.  The SeaMATE Barracuda Kit is designed for 15 amps. Modifications that increase the ROV's overall amperage above 15 amps may require certain components to be modified as well. See the assembly instructions for additional information. If you're not sure where to start, take a look at this handy side-by-side comparison of the SeaMATE ROV kits The new SeaMATE Barracuda ROV Kit is an ROV kit featuring analog or digital joystick control of four motors.  The Barracuda ROV kit consists of a control system, wires to receive and deliver power, and thrusters (motors, propeller adapters, and propellers). A frame is not included in the kit, but frame materials can easily be purchased from a local hardware store or from the SeaMATE store. The kit does not include batteries or a power supply, but the SeaMATE store does sell adapters for different battery types. The control system is housed inside a compact, Seahorse brand protective equipment case.  Like the Triggerfish, the two joystick controls of the Barracuda make piloting easy and logical.  The Barracuda includes sensor input points, relays, and a Bluetooth module.  An Arduino is incorporated into the system which can be programmed to interpret sensors or control relays.  The joystick inputs can also interface with the Arduino to provide digital control of the Barracuda’s motors.  The Barracuda comes video ready with two video input channels and easy power out for monitors and cameras (sold separately).  Modular connections mean that Barracuda control boxes and vehicles are interchangeable.  These connections are the same as the Triggerfish connections, meaning Triggerfish and Barracuda control boxes and vehicles are interchangeable.   Detailed assembly instructions are available for the Barracuda kit, including video lessons, classroom activities, and many more topics here.  You will need to register to access our lesson plans, however, registration is free.  The Barracuda ROV with Thrusters and Tether includes: Control Box Box Plate 1 (large plate (~ 20cm x 25cm) Box Plate 2 (medium plate, large holes (~ 6cm x 23cm) Box Plate 3 (medium plate, small holes (~ 6cm x 23cm) Box Plate 4 (small plate (~ 11cm x 2.5cm) Joystick (2 ea) Joystick 3 pin connector wire - 2 ea Header Connector - 3 position - 4 ea Amp/Volt/Watt meter for TriggerFish TF/UD Power Rocker Switch Power Cord 18 Ga.
