Baroque-Style 22K Gold Leaf Carved Coffee Table with Black Stone Top

An opulent hand-carved coffee table finished in luminous 22-karat gold leaf, showcasing richly sculpted Baroque-style detailing and a dramatic black stone top. The base features exuberant scrollwork, acanthus carving, and deeply modeled Rococo flourishes, all executed with exceptional craftsmanship. The gilding displays a warm, layered glow with subtle red bole undertones peeking through—hallmarks of true water-gilded finishing. Resting above the sculptural base is a sleek black stone top, offering a refined contrast to the ornate giltwood carving.    Period- 1980-1989 Materials- Giltwood / Stone Technique- Gilt Measurement- Depth 48/ Width 76 / Height 26 Style- Baroque Origin- Italy
