barn study || art print

It's become a tradition for us to go to northern Michigan each summer the week before school starts.  We stay at the same pint-sized cabin on a calm lake and soak in the last moments of stillness.  The cabin is about a half hour away from the nearest town and the drive is just miraculous.  Forests and fields abound in the rustic atmosphere of the north. Littering my camera roll are images of farms and barns from these drives.  A series of such photos is what inspired this study.  An aged barn tucked behind a copse of trees.  Loved by those who use it but unremarkable to the rest of the world.   Reproduction of original gouache painting. Printed on lusciously textured paper. Please note, there will be image differences as the art is resized from the original to accommodate standard frame sizes. Feel free to email me for framing options.  bekka@seewhatiseadesign.com   Will ship via USPS.  All sales are final.   Allow up to two weeks for shipping.
