A large specimen featuring several pristine, lustrous, transparent smoky Barite crystals on a Siltstone matrix. The largest Barite crystal is over 4.5 cm in height. The classic Linwood Mine orthorhombic Barite crystals have sharp edges, are transparent (the matrix can be seen through the crystals) and the terminations are pristine. The contrast with the matrix - gemmy Barite crystals on matte Siltstone - is eye-catching. A great piece in excellent condition.
