Reach for Nourishing Tallow Balm for a frankincense-grounded version of the same foundation. The experience A rich, velvety butter with a clean, breathable feel on skin. Completely unscented — carrying only the very faint, clean aroma of pure, rendered grass-fed tallow, which disappears on skin within a minute. A bright, natural ivory color, signaling its purity. What's inside, and why two ingredients are enough Grass-fed beef tallow Tallow's fatty acid profile is the closest match in nature to your own skin's lipids — which is exactly why it feels at home on the skin that can't tolerate anything else. For reactive skin, less is more, and tallow is the most. Castor oil Seals everything in. Adds the soft natural sheen of a well-conditioned skin barrier — gentle enough for the most fragile cheeks and bellies. Your ritual Warm a small amount between your palms and press into clean skin. Because it's completely free of essential oils, it's the most versatile staple in the line — daily moisturizer, nipple balm, baby balm, comfort for irritation-prone patches, or wherever skin wants extra love. What to expect First use: Skin feels softer and more comfortable immediately. Bare Balm doesn't need a learning curve — it just works. Weeks 1–3: Reactive skin tends to feel calmer and more comfortable with daily use. The simplicity is the point. Ongoing: Many of our most reactive customers find Bare Balm becomes their forever staple — the one balm they reach for when nothing else feels safe. If anything feels off at any point, just reply to your order email. I read every one. Honest answers to common questions Safe for babies and newborns? Yes. Bare Balm is made specifically with babies in mind — only grass-fed tallow and castor oil, both of which are food-grade and gentle enough for the most delicate skin. Many parents use it for diaper changes and dry baby cheeks. Pregnancy and nursing safe? Yes — completely. No essential oils, no botanicals, no fragrance. Bare Balm is one of the most-reached-for products by pregnant and nursing women. It's also a nipple balm. Will it smell like beef? No. There's a faint, clean scent in the jar from the rendered fat itself — but on skin it disappears within a minute, leaving nothing behind. This is the truly unscented option. How long will a jar last? A 4 oz jar typically lasts 6–10 weeks for one person. A 8 oz lasts most families 3–4 months. You'll find yourself reaching for it more often than you expect.
