G.D. Vajra Barbera d’Alba DOC is crafted from 100% Barbera grapes grown in Piedmont’s Langhe region, sourced from organic and biodynamic vineyards on clay-limestone soils at elevations up to 480 meters. The grapes undergo a 20-day maceration with gentle punch-downs and spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts, followed by aging in stainless steel tanks and Slavonian oak casks for 8–12 months to preserve freshness and minerality.
