Barbarian Virtues

Over-sentimentality, over-softness, in fact washiness and mushiness are the great dangers of this age and of this people. Unless we keep the barbarian virtues, gaining the civilized ones will be of little avail. ~ Theodore Roosevelt In October 1912, a would-be assassin shot Theodore Roosevelt in the chest. Despite his wound, Roosevelt would proceed to give an 84-minute campaign speech before allowing any medical attention. He began his speech by telling the audience, “Ladies and gentlemen, I don’t know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot, but it takes more than that to kill a Bull Moose.” For those who, like Roosevelt, will let nothing stop them from completing their task....not even a bullet to the chest. 100% preshrunk cotton for comfort double-needle stitching throughout supreme reliability and durability classic fit May cause a feeling of invincibility
