Baptisia tinctoria False Indigo

Baptisia tinctoria False Indigo is an eastern U.S. native wildflower that erupts in short spikes of bright yellow to soft cream blooms in late spring and summer. It attracts butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. Baptisia tinctoria False Indigo is drought-tolerant and resists transplanting once established. It has a bushier habit than many Baptisia, and can be lightly sheared after blooming to maintain an attractive, rounded appearance. Baptisia tinctoria False Indigo is perfect for cottage gardens and would pair well with Coneflowers, Black-Eyed Susans, Milkweed, and other wildflowers.
