FENG EXO Top - UV5R

The FENG EXO Shroud – Rugged Protective Frame  This UV-5R EXO Skeleton is a purpose-built, form-fitting protective frame designed specifically for the Baofeng UV-5R series radios. This EXO Skeleton enhances durability, prevents accidental activation, and elevates the appearance.  Key Features: Screen & Light Suppression Cover: A removable screen cover shields the display from impacts, scratches, and direct light emission from both the screen and the LED indicator below it—ideal for maintaining a low profile in night operations or covert environments. Integrated Protective Ridge System: The EXO Skeleton features raised ridges around key control areas—including the Push-To-Talk (PTT) button, volume/power knob, and screen. While it does not physically cover these components, the precision-designed ridge system significantly reduces the risk of accidental activation or adjustment while preserving full functionality. Volume Knob Guard: The volume/power knob is surrounded by a low-profile shroud that minimizes unintentional movement without impeding user access, perfect for rugged, high-movement conditions. Tactical Design: A sleek, function-driven aesthetic with practical geometry makes this a valuable upgrade for professionals, field teams, outdoorsmen, and preparedness-focused users.  Material & Durability: The EXO Skeleton is made from PETG Carbon Fiber, a high-performance thermoplastic reinforced with carbon fiber. This material offers a strong balance of impact resistance, thermal stability, and structural integrity, making it ideal for demanding field applications.   Durable Under Stress: PETG carbon fiber resists cracking and fatigue under heavy use or rough handling. Heat & Chemical Resistant: Ideal for outdoor environments and gear that may be exposed to sunlight, moisture, or cleaning agents. Enhanced Rigidity: The carbon fiber reinforcement adds stiffness without becoming brittle, ensuring the frame holds its shape and protection over time.
