Banksy Thrower

Mr. Brainwash - Banksy Thrower The unique work by Mr. Brainwash, Banksy Thrower is a artistic intervention on road sign created in 2023. The subject of the work is Banksy's well-known Flower Thrower, but instead of a bouquet, he is launching a book entitled Art for Dummies. This is a reference to the well-known series of manuals For Dummies, which are intended to be affordable guides for everyone in a wide variety of fields. In the background are the artist's various recurring tags, defining his artistic career from the beginning. In addition, the work is full of references to other exponents of Pop and Street Art (Banksy, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring). In this work, the medium is further enriched with a new element: the street sign. Using wood, cement, brick panel, and signage Mr. Brainwash reproduces the urban context within the work. Created by mixing techniques such as stenciling, collage, dripping, and spray painting, Mr. Brainwash gives life to unique works. Banksy Thrower measures 23.6x31 in. MR.
