Rio Bandito Craw

Johnson’s Rio Bandito Craw is a proven crayfish‑imitating fly designed to trigger aggressive strikes from trout, bass, and warmwater species. With its lifelike profile, rubber legs, and subtle movement, this versatile pattern excels in rivers where fish key in on crayfish. The heavy tungsten beadhead gets the fly down quickly, making it ideal for bouncing along the bottom, crawling through structure, or swinging through deeper runs. Tied with durable materials and a realistic color blend, the Rio Bandito Craw is a good choice for anglers targeting rivers for either trout or smallmouth. Whether you’re nymphing or stripping the Rio Bandito Craw, this fly delivers consistent results in a wide range of conditions.   The Rio Bandito Craw is tied on a size 12 hook with a total length of approx. 1-inch.
